Stadium

Originally built in 1974 and fully renovated in 2018.  Lanitio Stadium is currently owned by the Republic of Cyprus and operated by the Limasol Public School District and serves as the home of Lanitio Athletic Department, for many local track and field clubs, recreational running teams and hosts the local group for the National Support Plan for Development Sports (E.S.Y.A.A).

Lanitio Stadium can seat nearly 1500 fans and has been a hub, the training ground and training camp for many notable athletes and European athletic teams over time.

The fully recently renovated stadium, upgraded mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, a new turf field and 6 lane running track, upgraded restrooms and locker rooms, free weight room and variable resistance equipment gym. It is classified by IAAF as category II stadium.

Other auxiliary facilities within the stadium grounds are the cafeteria and a public kid’s playground.
